Premise
An inhaled breath followed with a gentle sigh. Another day, another routine to follow. How long have you been here? It feels like days- months even but- where exactly is here? The style seems almost Japanese, with a hint of Western influence, that has a feel of being a bit old. The room is dim, but the light of the moon easily filters in to give everything a haunting glow.
The room is decorated with carvings of the moon, lampshades with decoration of the moon and its many phases, with the Japanese character of Moon. You are no longer dressed in your clothes from your home world, but are in simple robes that are soft in color and cool to the touch. On your desk beside your bed you there is a clipboard with a note on it:
"Welcome _______,
Due to your excessive and growing delusions of a fantasy world you believe to be reality, you have been admitted to the Rogetsu Sanatorium for the surveillance and treatment of Lunar Sedata Syndrome.
We understand that you may feel confused and emotional at this time, and we urge our patients to do what they can to remain calm. The radio on the table beside your bed can be used to signal the Nurses or other patients residing within the hospital. Should you need Nurse attention, please simply call out for assistance.
We hope that you find your stay comfortable at Rogetsu Sanatorium and Haibara Hospital.
Best Regards,
Hopital Staff."
When did you come to this place? How did you get here?
Welcome to Lunar Abyssus,
a panfandom survival-horror game loosely based off of the survival horror game Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lunar Abyssus is set on the fabled island known as the Island Closest to the Underworld. Here, your character is being treated for something known as Lunar Sedata Syndrome that is common to this island and this island only. The world your characters have left behind begins to flicker as mere memories, and the line between reality and this hostile territory now called home begins to blur. Were they ever really from that other world? Or are they just as insane as the doctors claim they are?
